Important Information:
  1. All tourists are required to park their vehicles in the designated parking area at Anavachal, located outside the forest near Thekkady Junction in Kumily.

  3. Don’t forget: There’s a convenient shuttle service provided by the Forest Department that runs between the parking area and the boating point every half an hour.
  4. The boating point is located inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve, and it requires a 4 km trip from the Thekkady parking ground.
